I am deeply insulted. I feel it right through my soul. I met her - the one who's supposed to be experienced and great in writing. Surprise! She's still a student just like me. There are only about two differences about us: the school we go to and the course we're taking up. I'm not conceited. I am ready to bow down, give way and accept that there are people who are much better at me in some ways. But this time, I don't understand at all! Such professionalism she's showing. We've been over this before. We've stated our desired positions and she clearly got that because she always, always emphasized my position. I'm supposed to be head! Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT! I'm also upset at myself for giving in without a fight... For not questioning or objecting to the decision made. I'm also insulted at the fact that long before the arrival of this other girl in the picture, my friend was so ready to give up, to say 'I'm out' but then she suddenly changes her mind when she met her?! What the f*ck!!! How turncoat can she get?! Whatever angle I try to see this, she's also as helpless as we are before. She also doesn't know what she's gotten herself into. So why? What is it in her you saw that assured you this isn't a con? As I sat right next to her and listened to her talk to us, I tried to compare myself to her and weigh things out as to why I'm suddenly not getting the top position and she is.Guess what? The weighing scale didn't tip over to her side. It's in balance! I asked her every question that may lead me to the answer I was looking for and all the answers she gave left me much more frustrated, upset and betrayed. I hate this. But thank you dear other friend of mine for agreeing with me. I do hope you'll be there the next time around. I need you.
