Whoopee! is all I can say right about now. I'm very very excited tonight. So yeah, am not going to Puerto Galera. Not gonna experience lying on its white sand, go for a swim on the blue ocean or even take pics of the wonderful surrounding there but all that doesn't matter anymore...
Cos I am going to Baguio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This girl has got all her belongings packed and is so ready to go. Photos and story to come when I get back.
Oh and judgement has been made. The decisions are in and...
I made it to the honors list again! Oh yeah. I survived Philosophy! Whoo-hooo!!!!!!!!!!!

October 19-20 was our Immersion at the Caritas Village in Florida Blanca, Pampanga. I had been so reluctant to go because I was never big on travelling to far away places specifically provincial ones but since it was either that or get an incomplete grade, I went.
Thankfully it was only an overnight stay. The place was so far away from what I call civilization! There wasn't a proper source of water supply - you had to rely on a
poso just so you'll have water to wash the dishes, clean the
bathroom, take a bath or wash your face with. Considering it came from the
poso one has to bear with the water's malodorous smell. I know I had to. A dirty bathroom and roommates who can't sleep without turning the lights off were also part of the things I had to endure during the immersion. I wasn't able to get a goodnight's sleep at that place. Call me maarte but I just can't take sleeping on the hardwood floor.
It was a lovely place to look at in the morning - early morning that is. What province wasn't? You can have a clear view of the night sky when the sun is just about to rise and it's cold and misty outside and the air you breathe is so fresh... But come the afternoon and you'll be looking for a cold cold drink to quench your thirst and battle the heat of the sun. Belle and I along with some of my classmates resorted to buying a large bottle of cold Pepsi (I prefer Coke but there was none). At night, it gets really dark outside and quiet giving you an impression that it's already deep in the night even though it's only about six o'clock in the evening.
The place has a lot of problems other than having only a
poso and lack of electrical posts to light the way. There's no school around the village, kids have to travel far to get their much needed education and there's no clinic in sight with a resident doctor, nurse and dentist to tend to their health concerns. I only stayed overnight there but I know I wouldn't want to live there. It's a tough place to live in.

CHEERS THESIS MATEYS! WE MADE IT TO THE NEXT ROUND!
Thesis proposal defense is over and done with. Despite the holes they found in our study, it was approved.
Puerto Galera
Just look at it. It's such a wondrous site to see. It's a great vacation spot.I haven't been to Puerto Galera before and for the past couple of months, I've been looking forward to going there this semestral break with Alex, my boyfriend and some of my high school clique. Unfortunately... I doubt that dream vacation of mine will push through. My high school clique says they don't have the money. My parents says 'You're not going unless you're going as a group.' *sighs* Well... it was a nice dream while it lasted. Goodbye Puerto Galera. Maybe someday I'll get the chance to go. But right now, I'm not holding my breath.
