Isn't technology wonderful? With its advancement, it has made our lives easier. Gone are the days when people need to wait for days, even weeks simply to communicate or to travel or to get some work done. I must admit, as a teenager, technology certainly made its mark in my life.
With the invention of the computer, I find it a lot easier to do my projects--- thanks to the MS Office software that is very user-friendly. Typing, editing and designing a project to make it presentable and pleasing to look at is easier to do. Thanks to the computer for I can now do my reports without the hassle of buying manila paper or cartolina and pentel pen just so I can make a visual aid for the class to see. All I need is a trusty diskette or compact disc to save and open my report. And who hasn't heard about the wonders the Internet can bring? With its development, almost anything is just a click away. From research works to making seat reservations for that much awaited movie I've been dying to see, to chatting and catching up with friends through the use of the network communities like Friendster, chatroom communities, emauls or the yahoo, MSN or AOL messengers, who wouldn't rave about it? Speaking of catching up, another example of technology's help in my life as a teenager would be the use of cell phones. With text messaging, I could send and receive messages faster especially when there's an important message like suspension of classes or as simple as looking for your friends to know their whereabouts. Certainly, text messaging has made it easier to reach out to friends who are miles and miles away. I just find it so amazing that with advanced technology, I can simply say, "Email me tonight" or "Let's text each other" and whatever it is that I need, I can get it that fast. Oh, and let me not forget how traveling from one place to another within just a couple of minutes has been made possible and a lot easier to do with LRT 1, LRT 2 or the MRT. For those like me who don't have the luxury of having cars to drive me to school, haviong these trains around is definitely something to be thankful for. The fare is affordable and because they use rails instead of roads to run, they help people to avoid traffic especially during rush hours.
Fast is the keyword in technology. Thanks to it, we can live conveniently. So two thumbs up to the people behind modern technology.
This article is the one I wrote for our school paper which as most of you know am part of. It got published and I just wanted to share it to you.Hope you like it.

My stress filled days are almost over. *breathes a sigh of relief* Yep, only three more exams to study for and a script to write and my brain can finally rest when sem break arrives.
We viewed our TV Commercial today as well as our short movie and I am absolutely amazed and overjoyed at the outcomes. They were both great and our classmates and professor loved it. It was really a wonderful experience and I'm glad to have been part of it. I really liked our works that I wish you guys could also watch it. I am so proud of it and so proud of our group. They weren't easy to do. Our group had a lot of disagreements, sleep deprived days, stress and bankruptcy days. So much had happened while we were doing them and I'm just so glad that despite all those,we were able to make it.We met the deadlines and we were able to bond. I'm also done now with our radio drama- our final exam in my major subject Radio Broadcasting.I played an old woman, a mother actually and I'm so glad that I was able to pull it off, even impress my professor. Our photography exhibit was also successful. A lot of professors and students who viewed our works were impressed at the photos we displayed and a couple of my works are going to be kept by the school for future multimedia use and well what can I say? I'm flattered.
It's almost over now. After Wednesday next week, I'm gonna relax and enjoy semestral break.I'm going to pamper myself and go out on lots of dates with Alex. Oh I'm so looking forward to it but for now I'm going to focus on accomplishing these remaining tasks.
